So you want to know a little bit about me? I'm not used to talking about myself and will avoid it if at all possible so please read the following 'gently.'

I write under my own name, Diana Lesire Brandmeyer. Lesire is from my first husband who died. I use his name as a middle name so my sons can say"that's my mom," just like my third son.

I love to read romance, mysteries and mainstream fiction. I can't decide which is my favorite genre to read. My favorite book and author changes all the time but my all time favorites are Harriet the Spy and Little Women. Both of them sent me on my writing path. Harriet taught me how to record the world around me and Jo taught me to persevere. 

I love to ride my bike  and I used to enjoy dance classes. It's been awhile since I've done that. Now I learn through dvds at home.

My home is much quieter these days as one son has married, one lives in Chicago, and the other is in St. Louis. That leaves my husband and the cat. I'm adjusting to less food to cook, less mess to clean and there seems to be enough water to take a nice long shower these days!

I've also discovered the joys of scrapbooking with paper and digi-scrapping too! 

My dream for the future is to follow my husband in his dream. He would like to travel the country in a motor home and work with Laborers for Christ building churches and schools. Sounds like fun doesn't it?
